The Scenario: Finally Landing
The Scenario: Finally LandingSo here we are at the end of week seven. John has finally decided to go into a two-day detox clinic to get his body clear from Opiate. Upon getting clear, John jumped straight back into the WAR program. John’s first week back was a bit of a challenge; his body still felt somewhat achy and even tired, and the Dragon seemed to be working hard in his mind. Now that the Dragons colleague Opiate has been benched, and pushed aside, the Dragon is doing everything in His power to bring Opiate back into the Game. The Dragons making it so John can’t sleep, and his legs and back seem to be restless. When John does get some sleep, the Dragon forces dreams into his mind; dreams about Opiate, and the relationship they shared for so long. He whispers lies and deceit from all angles: “You can’t do this”-He whispers. “Opiate will help you get some sleep, just bond with him one more time. Don’t you remember how good Opiate used to make you feel? You will feel so incredible when you reunite with Him. He will work even better for you this time around."John continues to press forward, regardless of the Dragons whispers. John has been preparing for this time for the last eight weeks; he knew it was coming. He knew that the Dragon was going to be whispering lies and deceit into his mind, for the WAR program told him so. John knows that during this challenging time he needs to be diligent, and firmly committed to his continued growth in living the WAR lifestyle. John keeps on his nutrition regimen, where even though his appetite seems to be troubled, he still sticks to the eating schedule. John has been drinking plenty of water, and doing the best that he can throughout the WAR workouts. The WAR workouts seem to provide him with relief, where he feels happy, and even high following the workout. After the workout, he has a post workout recovery shake, and drinks plenty of water as he then proceeds to go home and begin his nightly routine.John feels good, however the Dragons whisper is still strong in his mind. The Dragon is relentless in his pursuit, but John resists the urge, and presses forward with great momentum. Throughout this process John has turned to something greater than himself; he has turned to fervent payer and diligent study. For weeks now John has been sincerely asking God for help through sincere prayer. As he has been diligently praying these past seven weeks, he has become better at it. John has noticed an invisible presence guiding him in small, yet subtle ways. John is now starting to develop faith because of this invisible hand that seems to be helping him along the way. Now when he prays- he listens with real intent, and even believes that he will be given this help that he so passionately welcomes. This small development of faith has become a powerful force against the Dragon because John is now not alone in the fight. John now has help from a power greater than himself.Back to Me...It's interesting to note the nudging process of the invisible hand that is now present in John's life. Because John has been actively seeking help, something greater than himself has stepped in and provided that help. At some point in this process a seed was planted in Johns heart. That seed was planted as he diligently prayed and studied about the spiritual essences of this world. It goes as follows: John felt a small comfort through spirituality, his heart was pricked, and a small seed was planted; now due to this small change of heart - a new motivation to press forward flows freely into John's mind.Back to John...Now John is more motivated than ever to continue in his pursuit to not only continue living an active lifestyle both physically and nutritionally, but to also move forward diligently in his study concerning the unseen, or the invisible hand of help. John has now started taking an interest in reading powerful books; books about God and Jesus Christ. John likes the way that these types of books are starting to make him feel. They make him feel safe, and even confident as of to what the future now has in store for him.So John continues on in his reading, studying, and praying. He has now taken his reading, studying, and praying to remote locations; locations that help invite that spiritual feeling into his heart and mind. Locations that are peaceful, quiet, remote, and even secluded. John has found peace through solitude, and enjoys what it now has to offer him.John, in a sense, is starting to get addicted to this new way of life. He's starting to get addicted to the sport of the gym experience, and he's fueling himself daily with that in mind. He's starting to get competitive with not only himself, but with others who are also trying to progress in their own gym experience. Now when John goes home at night his regimen and routine consist of healthy things, such as: vegetables, water, protein, almonds, eggs, reading, studying, pondering, praying, and going to sleep at a reasonable hour. When he wakes up in the morning his day consists of: praying, reading, eating healthy, drinking water, studying, working, reading some more, eating healthy again, praying again, studying the WAR concepts, participating in the WAR gym experience, participating in the WAR classroom experience, further reading & studying, eating healthy again, drinking more water; and then finally back to the night routine. For weeks upon weeks, even leading up to a year now, this new and improved routine has taken form in John's life. Everywhere John goes, people seem to stare at him with wonder. They wonder who this new man is, and what it is that's caused such a dramatic transformation to take form in his life. John now carries himself with an amazing aura of confidence, and has an incredible light about him that everyone seems to recognize, whether they know him or not. His body has transformed to that of a professional athlete, and he stands out in a crowd because of this. Because of the fact that John has been so persistent and diligent with his nutrition and workouts, his body has become unique to the majority of the people he's surrounded by.John also now has a spiritual presence about him that is indescribable. His faith and testimony concerning spirituality has grown into something remarkable. That seed that was first planted into his heart has grown and brought fourth gifts such as: patience, humility, quiet strength, a humble demeanor, a confident demeanor, leadership qualities, a service oriented character, and strength of mind -among many others.Through his persistent study and prayer John has been healed to a point where the Dragons whispers are of no concern to him anymore. In fact, the Dragons whispers have become far and few between. The invisible hand guides and directs his life now; John has his free agency back.Closing Remarks...This is the process and progression of the WAR Lifestyle. This is a true story. I've watched this progression happen to people who have gone through the WAR program. For those of you who've taken the time to read this series I just want to tell you that this WAR program can in fact transform a person in the same way that John was transformed. As aforementioned, it does take a diligent effort, but addiction is no joke. It's not wise to think that overcoming addiction would be an easy process, because it's not. In fact, most people don't end up making it simply because they can't endure through the downtimes; more importantly, they can't endure through the tough times. These worldly substances that are controlled by the Dragon are so powerful that a casual effort in overcoming them will not cut it. It takes everything you've got, and more, but the rewards of overcoming are magical. You see, I'm thankful that I struggle with addiction because addiction has opened my eyes to a whole new understanding of life. Addiction has helped me to gain an understanding concerning the invisible hand, and the role it plays in directing my life. Addiction has taught me about humility and long-suffering, which has only made me stronger as an individual. Addiction has taught me about gratitude, and the importance of not taking things for granted, and living in the moment, and being thankful for all moments. Addiction has taught me how to make everything into an experience, and how to hold on to those experiences, and how those small experiences can still get me high, but high in a real- lasting way; high in the way that human beings are supposed to get high, which is through one of Gods greatest gifts; physical activity.Until Next Time...Thanks-HawkCheck Out Part 1: The ScenarioCheck Out Part 2: The Scenario ContinuesCheck Out Part 3: The Scenario: A Further Look
