Weekend Experience
Go Fishing
A. Go on a 60 minute hike carrying a light load (camelback full of water, protein bar, apple, almonds, & book). Do this hike in the evening around 7:30 pm. +B. Read, meditate, and refuel at the top, and then work you way down. Carry thankful thoughts in your head, and even stop on occasion to appreciate the experience you are having. +C. Do something that you used to love to do – but have lost touch with over the years. Think back to when you were young and innocent and do some kind of activity that used to be a big part of your life. Some ideas could be: Mountain Biking, Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Soccer, Fishing, swimming Etc. Everyone has something that they used to like to do – so get back in touch with that something, do it, and then write about it.It could be something as simple as going out and playing catch with a football or baseball, or running around kicking a soccer ball. Go golfing on Saturday or Sunday, or go fishing. Just go do something that you used to like to do when you were young and innocent, and do it clear, and then look to live in the moment while doing so. Don't just survive, enjoy life, and get back in touch with some of the things that may have gotten lost over the years due to your addiction. Having healthy hobbies is important to maintain, since it provides us with balance and overall wellness. Thanks... Email me concerning your weekend experience: dustin@workoutaddictionrecovery.com
