Weekend Experience
Go Out and Play Something
A. Be physically active (play something) for a consistent 60 minutes - carrying a medium intensity. Make this fun. Could be running; could be basketball; could be hitting a bag; could be shoveling snow; could be whatever. You could even do multiple things. Just be active, even playing for a consistent 60 minutes. Work on living in the moment during the experience, not trying to hurry and get through the moment, but live in it, and search for joy in the simple things. Be creative in the way that you do this and email me what you did. dustin@workoutaddictionrecovery.com B. Over the weekend - further your study from Wednesday's Remote experience concerning The Christ. There is so much out there about Him and the way of life that He promotes. Go to a book store and search for a book about him, or even get lost in scripture study. The New Testament has some great stuff in it; stuff that, if tied in with prayer, will lead you on an experience of learning that will create a lasting impression within your mind; even an impression that will change the way that you perceive life. Make this type of study happen, however, beware of the unique truth that when one embarks on such study-that everything is going to seem get in your way, trying to deter you from having such a spiritual experience. Fight through it, and get into the study of Christ. C. Write about what you learned over the weekend. Email me: dustin@workoutaddictionrecovery.com
