Saturday Black Session Week 3
Quiet
We live in a world today where it is hard to hear - it's loud. Things are constantly evolving, technology is progressing at an incredible rate - let's face it, the world has sped up. But has it really sped up? Or do we just think it has?
When is the last time you really took yourself to a quiet place and listened? In the mountains, a field, or anywhere that is quiet where you can escape the worldly things. In this quiet place you will notice that the world actually moves fairly slow, and that the hustle and bustle of every day life only happens because you allow it to. You will notice that the bugs, the wind, the plants, the animals, all continue to move at a steady slow pace, never having any type of anxiety to be in a rush; but yet they still progress.
We as human beings want to make progress in this life and be successful. How do we do it? We have to slow down and listen. Who says that in order for you to get anything done you have to be in a rush, or have constant anxiety? The people that find success are good listeners, and have the ability to slow everything down even when things seem rushed and out of control.
When we slow things down in our life, we have the capability of developing a better understanding of the task at hand. We are more in tune to our mind and conscience, in which thoughts and inspiration will flow more freely. Ideas will come on how to manage our life better, ultimately helping us to make good decisions.
