The Nudge

The Nudge

A Story Told by the Invisible Hand

Part 2 of 4

“A nudge is to be pushed up against gently; to come closer; nearer

I can see that you have been struggling these past weeks. And I have been hearing your fervent prayers. That's too bad about your daughter breaking her arm and needing surgery; and it's too bad that you we're not as prepared and in tune spiritually as you had hoped to be for when something like that occurs. Can you now see the importance of remaining clear so that you can be prepared for all things? So that when your child needs surgery unexpectedly you are prepared emotionally and spiritually to offer your best self. Since you have been taking yourself out of reality so often these past weeks I have not been able to see you through as intensely as times in the past; however - I have still been nudging you out of the rut, in hopes of moving you back into the light.“Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.” (Ezekiel 38:7)Keep fighting, for I am helping you. The Dragons ways are dark. Don't give into his constant temptation to quit my path. Think about how far you've come these past four years. Four years ago you had a very intense Amphetamine and Opiate addiction; now you are going months at a time where you experience nothing but clarity, and are even walking my path uprightly and confidently. I realize that you keep falling back time and time again, and this does sadden me; however my way is a process which takes endurance, and my process is clearly working in your life, even though you may not see it all of the time. The only way my healing process won't continue to work for you is if you quit fighting the WAR; or if you quit fighting and enduring, and just end up traveling the easy quick way, which are the simple, and even short-lived ways of the world.“Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.” (James 5:11)“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mathew 24:13)Couldn't you feel my nudge of help this last weekend when the power went out at your house? This power outage proved to be a great blessing, and even an answer to your prayers, since it did in fact help you to stay home with your family instead of going out and fulfilling your worldly desires. That night you were at a weak point, and had the determination to explore other options; or other substances, substances that you haven't explored in a long time, but were ready and willing to explore due to your weakened character from the past weeks poor decisions. Can't you see how the Dragon works? At first, He’ll invite you to just stick your foot through the door, in hopes of you eventually putting your leg through, then your arm, then your head, till eventually He's got the whole you inside of his world. And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice.” (Moses 4:4)I appreciate the fact that you recognized the blessing in the power outage that Saturday Night. I love how you are so adamant to increase in your learning and understanding; and how you couldn't help but think that the power outage was not coincidental, since your house was the only house in the entire area whose power went out. I like how you are thinking, and it's through thinking like this that a true foundation of faith is built upon. My ways are slow, and are often times unnoticeable, but only unnoticeable to those who are not searchers. Keep being a searcher of my ways, and my healing process will be a living - breathing thing in your life until you are perfect as I am. My way is not easy, but my way is lasting. My way takes hard work, but through your hard work and diligent effort you will be given the opportunity to see life from a different, more beautiful angle.“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Mathew 11:28-30)As for the current rut you’re in, look to use my wonderful gifts of exercise and nutrition. Look to hike intensely, and utilize meditation and prayer while simultaneously exploring physical intensity and solitude. These are my ways of getting high, through being physically active, and being healthy. Keep looking to fuel yourself properly; eat healthy foods, and drink plenty of water. Can't you see that when your nutrition is lacking then your addiction seems to slowly creep in? It seems that when you fall off nutritionally, you fall off physically, and when you fall off physically, you start to fall off spiritually, which is then when your disease comes calling, making you vulnerable to the Dragon and his substances. Look to keep your mind, body, and spiritual self in harmony, for one without the other cannot work, since you’re the type of person that must keep this harmony in check, or you won't remain in check.Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11)“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”   (Ephesians 6:13)Keep studying and reading about my wonderful truths concerning the big picture of life. The more sound of an understanding you gain concerning these truths, the stronger your testimony will become concerning Me and my lasting ways. A strong testimony will lead you to further motivation to stay on my path, and your slip-ups and set backs will occur no more. Just don't give up; keep fighting; for my ways are worth it; your family is worth it.“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”(Luke 11:9)       -Dustin Hawkins
