The Remote Experience 11/4/13

Winter Road ExperienceEXPERIENCE NOTE: Don’t let the weather- nor the cold scare you. Remember, this is an experience – so make it into one. If the weather is bad, then go create an experience for yourself in that weather.“Don’t be afraid to perform outside in the winter months, for there is beauty to be had if you would just go searching for it.”A. On a unique road/area, jog for 10 Minutes – Warm Up Pace. Direct you thinking towards gratitude. Think about all of the things you are thankful for, and then, as you are jogging, say a prayer out loud – but only in a whisper. After the 10 minute warm up jog – rest exactly 2 minutes and then go into B.+B. Sprint for 30 seconds @ 95% + Walk for 30 seconds X 10. During this portion of the experience I want you to think about how cool this current experience is that you are now having. Look to recognize where you are at (geographically) – and be thankful. And also think about how far you’ve come as a person; and how you’ve finally had the courage to participate in these remote experiences. Look to be proud of yourself for stepping outside of your comfort zone by doing something that is completely out of the ordinary for you. This is how we grow, by stepping outside of ourselves, and looking to have experiences that are real.+C. Jog for 10 minutes – cool down. Say another prayer out loud and in a whisper. Don’t be repetitive, but let your heart flow creatively.+D. At home, read + write about the nights experience.
