The Daily Experience 6/15/15
I'm so proud of Spence Hunsaker. He competed in his first olympic weightlifting meet this past weekend and put on great performance. He went 4-6 and totaled #210, and was by far one of the best pound for pound lifters at the meet. His technique and confidence on the platform was great. He attacked the bar with a great confidence and intensity, making me and the others who came to support him so proud for the way that he carried himself. Spence first came into war as a kid and has now become a man--wow.Again, I'm so proud of him for what he is doing with his life. He's married, works a full time job, and is a full time weightlifter and coach at WAR. He donates his time at night to coach others, which is why he is such a great weightlifter as well. I'm a true believer that how you live your life off the field or platform translates directly over into how you compete in a sport. Some big things in the future or going to happen for this kid in not only weightlifting, but in his family and professional life as well. How can an individual go wrong if they carry the service mind frame and are a weightlifter? The answer is that they can't. Spence can't go wrong if he keeps living the way that he is living.Nice work, and keep making progress in everything. Remote ProgramA. Tester: run 1 mile + 150 air squats + 30 burpeesB.
